On February 21, 2020, China-Europe Commercial Collaboration Association (CECCA), together with the Institute of International Shipping and Trade Law, School of Law of Swansea University, held the international seminar themed on “Arbitration, Execution and Jurisdiction in Commercial Activities” at London Office of the renowned Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW).

Dr. Jia Shengnan, a partner of Tahota Beijing Office and a co-founder of CECCA, gave a speech on “The Impact of Coronavirus (NCP) on Commercial Contracts and Dispute Resolution” based on the influence of the epidemic on business contract.

Dr. Jia Shengnan’s speech was highly valued and praised by the participants due to the fact that no Chinese lawyer had made such a public speech before at an international conference on how to solve the relevant problems from the perspective of the effectiveness of business contract governing terms and the application of Chinese law.
